The METOS Forum comprises of education, training and employment organisations working together to shape and recommend the open standards for the wide spread adoption of metaverse in education and training.
Focusing on the 'six pillars' of the metaverse the forum's mission statement states that, the forum's aim is to create the open standards which will pave the way for educational providers to use, learn and adopt immersive technologies. Together we will advance the use of the metaverse in education and training in a safe, sustainable, and inclusive manner, shaping the future of work and learning for generations to come.
As a member of the Metaverse Standards Forum, we can ensure that our software is compliant with all new and existing standards. To ensure we are up-to-date, VISR attends weekly Khronos meetings with many other stakeholders within the Metaverse industry.
